Submitting a Service Desk Ticket

 

Summary

Students and faculty can submit a ticket to the Service Desk.

Instructions

  1. From MAVzone, select the Service Desk app to create a ticket.

  2. Choose Digital Learning and then select the needed category.

  3. Select Log an issue.

  4. Complete the rest of the form (make sure to fill the required fields indicated by *).

  5. Submit the form.

Can’t Access D2L

There is a problem when trying to log into D2L.

D2L Content Issue

D2L content has…

  • Broken or missing links to files, websites, or multimedia

  • Missing modules or content topics that were previously visible

  • Incorrect or outdated files and resources

  • Content items that do not open, display incorrectly, or return error messages

  • Incorrect visibility or release conditions on course materials

  • Issues with embedded documents, videos, or external tools not displaying as expected

Other

Any other issue that does not fit the criteria for the other categories.

Co-Instructor Enrollment

Instructors can choose to add users under the CMU Faculty, Co-Instructor, Librarian, Student Auditor, or Tutor role.

Combine Course Shells

Multiple sections of the same course need to be combined into a single course.

Course Date Change

Instructors can request to change a course start date and end date.


Note:

Due to Federal Financial Aid Guidelines, The Center for Digital Learning & Innovation cannot extend a course beyond 14 days.

Incomplete Student

Instructors can request to give a student access to a course beyond the official end date.


Note:

Students who receive an Incomplete grade can be given the role of incomplete in D2L. Unless specified, this gives them until the end of the next major term (fall or spring) to complete the course work.
